In God's Glory
Salvation Music Ministries is proud to present artist Andrew Ranhosky. His New Album 'IN GOD's Glory' is filled with beautiful gospel songs that will bless you in a way that you will want to listen to them over and over again. Also, this album was produced at Son Sound Music Group in Bessener City,N.C.,which is known for being one of the highest top quality producers of gospel CD's in our country today. Listen to this album and you will hear this specific quality that you will enjoy for years to come!!! Let us all remember and not forget that country western music has changed in it's presentation over the years, but also remember that the songs of that day are still in our hearts and therefore Andrew Ranhosky keeps these songs alive as they should be kept. His first song on this new album, 'One Day At A Time' is a very good example of remembering the great artists of the days who gave their hearts to their music. Yes, Sinatra crooned, 'I Did It My Way,' but Andrew declares with confidence, 'My Way Is God's Way.' During the past decade, Andrew's ministry has taken him to churches and auditoriums all along the eastern seaboard from Canada to Florida. Yes, Andrew is also a saxophone player and he became serious at the age of eight when he became the protege of his Grandfather, Professor Ventura, a graduate of the Conservatory of Naples, Italy. Ventura has won recognition in New England for the numerous professional musicians who he had under him. Mastering both the alto and the tenor saxophone, Andrew played in his high school band for three years but put his music aside when he enrolled in college in Santa Anna, California in elementary education. Andrew's plans for the future changed directions during college when he accepted a job with an engineering firm. Finding his niche in drafting and design, he changed schools and eventually joined North American Aviation where he worked on the Apollo, Minute Man and Saturn Missile Projects. During the early eighties, as fulfilling as his career had been, Andrew sensed something was missing in his life. His search led him to Oregon where in 1983 he accepted Jesus within his heart - a decision that would alter his entire future. Shortly afterwards he moved to Fort Mill, S.C. where he met fellow Saxophonist, gospel singer and ordained minister, McKinley Sandifer. McKinley became his mentor, encouraging him to pick up the saxophone again and play it for the glory of God. In 1990 Andrew formed Salvation Music Ministries and under this banner he has set up concerts in his community using local talent. Also, our Lord has used Andrews gift of music to facilitate helping within other areas, such as Spinal Muscular Atrophy that effects children throughout the world and visiting Day Care Centers, nursing homes and assistant living homes. These precious people absolutely light up when he sings to them and they thrive on the special attention that they get individually. Yes, God has given Andrew such a special love for this part of his ministry. His main concern is to let these people know that God loves them and will be by their side through all the storms of life. Andrew is now an ordained minister as well as a capable songwriter and arranger. His credits include the words and music for 'Angel's Wings', and with writing and arranging the beautiful instrumental, 'Bride and Groom'. Seven of his recorded songs have been national releases (Angel's Wings', 'Sweet Anointing', 'It's Beginning To Rain', 'Old Rugged Cross', 'When Life Is At It's Worst God Is At His Best', 'Jesus Is The Best Thing' and 'Right Road, Wrong Road'. In the fall of '98 his song 'Angel's Wings' made the Top 300 List in the Singing News Magazine. A LETTER FROM DANNY FUNDERBURK Andrew is a dedicated gospel singer and Danny Funderburk of the past Cathedrals Quartet and a member of the Southern Gospel Hall Of Fame, had this to say. 'A few years ago I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew Ranhosky and since have had the opportunity to produce some of his recordings. Andrew is dedicated to spreading God's Word and love through song and testimony wherever he ministers. I have found him to be a joy to work with and have made a new friend as well. Andrew is not your typical Christian Artist. As a matter of fact, Andrew's style makes me think of some of the singers heard with the big bands of the 1940's because of his smooth, classic style of song presentation.' I would highly recommend Andrew for a concert at your church or as a part of your promotion.
