Anna Duff is from Sonoran desert of the Southwest. She has been playing and teaching the hammered dulcimer for the past 15 years throughout Arizona and the U.S. She was the 'Hammer' part of the duo Arm & Hammer, which released five recordings and received a Tucson Area Music Award in 1998 for Best Folk Ensemble. With the new millennium she began a career as a solo hammered dulcimer artist performing Spanish Classical & Latin Folk music. She has just released her new Spanish Solo recording 'Dulcianna: A Southwest Dulcimer' with guest accompanist Ken Kolodner. Anna is also the founder of Southwest Dulcimer Festival, an annual event that draws dulcimer lovers from around the continent for workshops and concerts. From the Press...
