Fight for the Family
Born in 1953 in LaJolla, California to a mother of Native American descent and a father of part Scottish heritage. Both parents were musicians. Benaiah first learned guitar from his father and Scottish grandmother. His grandfather from Kentucky first introduced him to the fiddle, and Ben's mother and her parents taught him harmony. Family reunions of Ben's many uncles consisted primarily of mountain music. Guitar, fiddle, harmonica, piano and drums--Ben has played them all at one time or another. In 1963, when he was ten, his parents' divorce was his main concern.(He was heartbroken) When he was twenty, he had a supernatural experience and began to believe in God. At thirty, after ten years of exploring the wilderness, his God, and his own soul, Ben married and had four children. Then, in 1993, he began fighting evil angels (demons) for the sake of children everywhere. To the demons that stole his little family, he sends the song 'Verdict' from his album SEVEN FLAMES. To his abducted baby, Justus Zechariah, he dedicates this album and the following lyrics: SAVE US LORD THIS FATHER AND SON FROM THE EVIL THE CRUEL ONES HAVE DONE KEEP OUR HEARTS FROM THEIR LYING TONGUE OH BREAK THROUGH THE DARK SAVE US LORD THIS FATHER AND SON IN YOUR MERCY LET JUSTICE BE DONE BREAK THE ARM OF THE LAW'S HIRED GUN OH BREAK THROUGH THE DARK.
