Cerebral P has been creating electronic music in the San Francisco bay area since 2000. The artist has scored soundtracks for an independent film company based in San Francisco, and contributed songs to the Albuquerque Film Festival. He is half of Butrane, a techno funk outfit also on the Duo City Records label. He records anti-hop (the antithesis of hip-hop) under the moniker Diamondcrusher. Cerebral P's third full-length release, The Frandor, was released by the Duo City label in late 2008. Combining industrial production with traditional hip-hop and house elements, the eight song collection features a dub remix of "Mini Disco Cage" featuring Kane of the Astroplane. The Frandor is a concept album loosely based on the zombie mall culture of the late 70's, and was heavily influenced by Max Brooks' book World War Z.
