After Hieronymus Firebrain, Jonathan Segel (aka Dr. Firebrain) stripped down and got himself what the call in the business a 'chick bass player.' Not just any chick, mind you... Jane Thompson (aka Jill) was a psychology grad student with a black belt in an obscure martial art. She kept the boys in line and away from complex time changes and obsequious lyrics.
