Pits in the Sandblaster
Pits in the Sandblaster A quirky combination of folk & electronica with special attention to detail. Eleazar Vs John's debut disc Pits In The Sandblaster jumps around from genre to genre. The album kicks off with the minimal lounge tune Of Age which has unique glitched up vocals throughout, definitely a new sound. Movements is a more challenging piece in which Eleazar weaves John's vocals in and out of an erie spaced out composition but if you stick around for the end you're treated to a warm serene finish. Definitely worth the investment. Chamomile is the finisher on the disc, a classic poppy folk tune with swelling ghost like synths throughout. It finishes with a melodic instrumental sendoff which brings the album to a gentle finish. From the high energy indie rock anthem Sport or the dark subdued Anthem Of A Thoughtful Son to the meloncoly How It Could Have Been or super detailed OX & So Forth, Pits in the Sandblaster will take you somewhere new.
