Eli Bolin is a singer, songwriter and all-around 'music guy' from Claremont, California... he's the composer of the off-Broadway musical 'I Sing!'... The music director of 'The Striking Viking Story Pirates', an NYC-based theater company that adapts stories written by kids into sketches and songs... and he's also a multi-instrumentalist power-pop wunderkind with a lust for glory. Combining the do-it-yourself ethic of early Todd Rundgren records with kick-ass piano playing and a goofy sense of humor, Eli makes piano rock for the child within you... The one who accidentally drank too much cough syrup. Cast and crew: Eli sings and plays piano, organ, electric piano, bass, guitars, toy melodica and percussion. Mike Schadel plays drums, percussion, piano and sings backup. John Elliott plays guitars, percussion and sings backup too. Hannah Hens-Piazza plays viola on 6,9,10 and 11. Hanan Harchol plays classical guitar on 6. Lee Overtree sings backup on 1. 'Lemonade' was produced, arranged and engineered by Eli with Mike and John between August 2005 and Spring 2007 at home in Brooklyn, NY. It was mixed by Bryan Dobbs and mastered by Emily Lazar at the Lodge in NYC. Eli made the 'Lemon Guy' and hopes you love him, and this album.
