She has been described as an energetic and soul stirring entertainer and a dynamic motivational speaker. She is an award winning vocalist, television personality and community servant. She is Evangeline Parker! Her anointed voice has led her to speak and sing around the world. From the internationally recognized Bobby Jones Gospel stage to opening for internationally known Gospel recording artists Karen Clark-Sheard and Lee Williams & the Spiritual QC's. She adds to her credits being the headliner of the Miss U.S. Virgin Islands Pageant for the past five years. Also, she is the only two time consecutive winner of the Miss Arkansas' prestigious Coleman Dairy Overall Talent Award. Several years ago, Evangeline realized one of her dreams, when she drew a standing ovation from New York's world famous Apollo Theater audience. From Hawaii, to Albuquerque, New Mexico to Barbados, West Indies and throughout the Delta region, Evangeline Parker's powerful and anointed vocal gift is touching the lives of the young and the young at heart. Evangeline has received numerous reviews; however, "Evangeline you are amazing," is one of her most memorable after show reviews which came from Academy Award Winning Actress, Mary Steenburgen. Evangeline has proven herself to be a true inspirational vocal stylist. She has released two inspirational music projects entitled "Bringing You A Message" and Evangeline Parker "Inspiration from Heaven" both on her Angel K! Inc. Label. Her 2008 CD release entitled "Conversations with God" is a compilation of uplifting, soulful, inspirational Gospel songs that speak to various life situations. Evangeline has received numerous awards and honors including being selected Arkansas Business & Professional Women's Inc. "Young Careerist," for her career and service achievements; Downtown Little Rock Business & Professional Women's Club Most Inspiring Woman; Spirit of Watershed Award for her committed service to the community; KARK-Channel 4/Arkansas Community Service Volunteer of the Month Award and KATV-Channel 7 Arkansan of the Week award for her service to youth. She is the public affairs coordinator for Comcast Communications of Arkansas and hosts the award winning cable news program Comcast Newsmakers. In addition, she is the founder and executive director of Teen Promise Incorporated a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that over the past 10 years has provided life skills preparatory training to over 200 Arkansas females between the age of 6 and 18 and awarded them more than $50,000 in scholarships and prizes. She is a member of St. Mark Baptist Church of Little Rock, Bishop Steven Arnold pastor and serves the church as a Sunday School teacher for the Master Life discipleship program. Her mission in life is to be a vessel for Christ spreading the word of God in word and song!
