Paper Dolls & Paper Plates
Fear of Commitment has been kicking around the Washington, DC music scene since February 13, 2000. Their live shows are known for their understated grace. Their debut CD Paper Dolls and Paper Plates includes guest vocals by Matt Felch of Sixty Acres and Eric Brace of Last Train Home. 'such gorgeous music that one is compelled to dedicate oneself to proudly walk the FOC path, forever and ever. Amen' -The Washington City Paper 'a light of the local music sene' -thewashingtonpost.com 'no matter how pretty the songs are, and many are gorgeous, there's usually something dark lurking' -Aiding and Abetting Webzine 'Niall Hood of Sixty Acres does double duty in a band called Fear Of Commitment - a wonderful trio featuring a strong vocalist in Sarah Knab. Guest keyboardists and strings fill out the sounds on the great Paper Dolls And Paper Plates CD. This is gentle, evocative, and moody pop that scores with tracks like She's Won, Times Have Changed, and the great (and groovy) Absolutely Everything. Nice breezy pop.' -Shake It Up! Webzine.
