Fortyminusone is a Fun, High Energy Rock Band who uses their music to connect with their audience and deliver a message of Hope and Love! Fortyminusone started in 1997 as a group of guys playing cover tunes. Several month later Heather was used as a fill in singer for a gig and the band knew that her voice would be the new voice of Fortyminusone. Soon they started writing their own material, playing out more and doing well in competitions around the area. In 2001 they put out an album, 'Cutting Through The Static.' Three of the members that participated on that album, David Hunt, Jeromey McCulloch and Richard Crumrin, have since moved on to do other things. Craig and Heather regrouped with Aaron Gullion and Todd Keating and started playing again. Soon thereafter we picked up Paul Lemay. With these members, Fortyminusone is creating fm1 music with pop, rock, metal, folk, and funk influences (to name a few). Our Sophomore Album 'Push Gently' was just released in January 2005 and showed that fm1 could indeed rock your face off! In October of 2007 Fortyminusone put out their third full length release, 'The Unseen,' which shows the bands continued growth as writers and musicians.
