Glenn Tucker is an accomplished jazz pianist, reed player, composer, and arranger from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He attends Community High School and studies with Tad Weed, Jack Wagner, and Vincent York. At the age of 17, he has already worked with many of area's finest jazz musicians, including Paul Keller, Vincent York, Claude Black, James Dapogany, George Davidson, Sean Dobbins, and Kelly Broadway, among others. He has played at venues such as the Firefly Club in Ann Arbor, Murphy's Place in Toledo, and Baker's Keyboard Lounge in Detroit. Tucker is also the co-founder, leader, and staff arranger of a student big band, the Cool Moose Orchestra, which performs professionally at local clubs and jazz festivals. His debut release Dusk Uptown (PKO Records) features a tasteful mix of original compositions and standards. On the project, he is joined by trumpeter Paul Finkbeiner, saxophonist Keith Kaminski, bassists Paul Keller and Ben Rolston, and drummer Steve Fentriss.
