Not Even the Rain
Jeff Libman is a jazz guitarist, composer, arranger, and educator. He is an adjunct faculty member in the music departments of Scottsdale Community College, Phoenix College, and Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Libman performs frequently in the Phoenix metropolitan area, and his music has been performed at jazz venues around the country. On his debut CD, 'Not Even The Rain,' Libman is joined by Michael Kocour on Hammond B3 organ and Shaun Lowecki on drums. The album features thoughtful arrangements of beloved jazz standards "Tangerine," "Only the Lonely," "All Through the Night," and "I'm Old Fashioned," and it also includes a completely re-imagined version of Carole King and Gerry Goffin's "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow." Completing the album are three compelling original compositions by Libman: "Candle Wax," "Too Beautiful," and "Come and Go."
