Jessica Fine is a singer/songwriter from Bloomington, Illinois. After graduating from the University of Miami's School of Music in 2005, she traveled to New York to pursue a music career. Singing since she could talk, she also began playing the piano at the age of eight. She surrounded herself with music and would listen to it all. Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey, and Billy Joel were important influences growing up and continue to be along with more recent artists such as The Counting Crows and Fiona Apple. At Miami she was able to expand her musical talents and hone her songwriting ability. While at Miami she also met her fellow bandmates. Playing together throughout college, they were able to perfect their sound and grow as a band. Jessica's voice has been compared to Sarah McLachlan, Norah Jones, and Fiona Apple. With a mix of Pop, R & B, and Rock, her real lyrics and unique sound set her apart from other artists.
