Singer Jimm McIver (pronounced McKeever) has been writing pop songs and performing them for more than a decade with bands and, most recently, as a solo artist. McIver's music, both intelligent and accessible, blends wry and whimsical lyrics with catchy melodies. His most recent material explores the influence of British heroes Lennon/McCartney, Difford/Tilbrook, Elvis Costello and Robyn Hitchcock. McIver's debut album 'Polaroid Angel' was released in June 2002 on Seattle independent label Ptarmigan Records. 'Polaroid Angel' was produced and recorded by Conrad Uno -- best known for The Presidents of the United States of America's platinum-selling debut. McIver is performing around the Northwest in support of the new release.
