John Denham's maiden release "Precursor" is a five song EP featuring the singles "Home Again" & "You Made The World". This initial offering provides the listener a glimpse of things to come from his soon to be released, full-length, self-titled album. Contagious melodies with tight vocal harmonies, and a creative, solid production technique combined with his unique style of songwriting is what sets John's music apart from the crowd. From the electrifying celtic flavored guitar solo on "Nobody Loves You", to the lush warm vocals on his anthem of love "You Made The World", to the bitter pounding drums of "Happy After All", and to the heartrending lonesomeness of "Home Again", "Precursor" runs the gamut of emotion and guarantees the listener a most rewarding sonic experience. John was born and raised in central Indiana where he lives today. You can usually find him at work in his recording studio on the High Grass Ranch. When he is not working on his own songs, he likes to produce records for other artists who come from all over. Coming from a family of rich musical heritage on both his father and mother's side, John is as comfortable in the middle of a symphony orchestra as he is burnin' it up with a down home, barnyard bluegrass band. His influences are many and varied. From the offerings of the founding fathers of classic American rock & roll, to the British invasion, to American folk and gospel, John's music is a culmination of all of these and more.... ...Stick it in...turn it on...crank it up!...
