We Made It
I started my music career while attending William Paterson University for Jazz Studies and Performance. I later performed in club and wedding bands honing my guitar and bass skills. While attending Columbia University for a Masters degree in music, I started composing. My first songs, especially "We Made It", represent my interest in 1960's pop/rock bands. The music is simple using a standard rock format, yet it is complex in the synthesis work, tight harmonies and jazz influenced guitar solo. Later work such as "Sensuous Love", represent everything but the kitchen sink that I could throw into a song. It has 1960's tight 4 part harmonies, a string trio and even a Rickenbacker thrown in for good measure. These days I spend my time composing and playing out. I have a lovely wife and family that support my musical interests, which sometime keep me up most of the night. You know that musical inspiration knows no hours. Enjoy the music! Ken.
