Hope for the World
Kimberly Douma is a singer, songwriter and flautist who loves to worship the Lord and lead others into His presence. Kimberly is a graduate of Christ For The Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. While there she traveled the US and the Orient with the group Living Praise. Kimberly has a classically trained voice with a distinctive style that is all her own. The songs she writes vary in genre. However, they do have one constant and that is a focus on exalting Jesus. Kimberly's debut recording "Hope For The World" is now available; it was produced by Matthew Fallentine whose projects include the latest from Terry Macalmon, Ross Parsley and The Desperation Band. The CD has ten tracks, nine of which were written by Kimberly and her husband Daniel. There is also a new arrangement of "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" which hails back to Kimberly's roots when she started singing atop a piano bench at the age of three with her family The Keech Family Gospel Singers. This is an album of studio worship, praise and worship songs fashioned in the studio setting. Kimberly's desire is that the Lord would use her music to lead others into a closer relationship with Him and that all would experience the power of God to meet their needs as they surrender their hearts in worship. Kimberly resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado with her husband and three children. Kimberly and Daniel lead worship at Calvary Temple in Denver, Colorado.
