Letty & Georgia are seasoned performers hailing a music career of ten years and the release of three albums. They have opened for such greats as Sam Bush, Lucinda Williams, The Kentucky Headhunters, and many others. Their live performances have been characterized as "Hot Tickets" (Piccolo Spoleto, Charleston, SC), "A Class Act" (Riverbend, Chattanooga, TN), "Search out Letty & Georgia for maximum vocal energy" (The Jackson Hole Skier) and Letty and Georgia's harmonies are as sweet as Georgia peaches, (Billy Block, Western Beat Roots Revival, Nashville, TN). Their debut album self-titled Letty & Georgia was described by the Chattanooga Times as "Pure, unadulterated country" and was recognized by NPR's A Prairie Home Companion in their search for "Talent From Towns Under 2000". Sophomore album 8 second ride received substantial airplay by Americana and Country stations throughout the US and had favorable reviews by Performing Songwriter and Goldmine Magazine. New release, plain & simple, includes ten original songs plus versions of Carly Simon's Anticipation and Delbert McClinton's Two More Bottles of Wine. The project was recorded at Quad Studios in Nashville, TN produced by Letty & Georgia and engineered by Bil Vorndick. Musicians include Bryan Sutton, Aubrey Haynie, Randy Kohrs, Tom Roady, Mark Fain and John Catchings. Plain & simple was released to Americana radio May 2005.
