Raised on a healthy diet of The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and The Monkees, Little Oscar expanded his musical beliefs through the ages to incorporate Bob Dylan, Elton John, The Ramones, and numerous others into his bag of tricks. Dropping out of the Indiana University School of Music in 1977, Little Oscar spent the next 22 years boppin\' around the country in numerous bands, before settling for extended periods in New York City and Nashville, TN. It was in New York that Little Oscar became a household name in the Anti-Folk scene founded by Lach in the East Village. Founder and member of the acclaimed Anti-Section with Mr. Scarecrow on guitar, Craig Gordon on bass, and Little Oscar on drums -- he spent several years backing such anti-folk stalwarts as Joe Bendik, Anne Husick, Key Wilde & Mr. Clark, Mr. Scarecrow, Liz Brody, and Karen Davis & Redneck, to name a few. Nashville found Little Oscar locking into the blues scene, spending numerous bluesy nights with Casey Lutton and Michael Thorn. Little Oscar has played with, and alongside such artists as the aforementioned Anti-Folk peers, Bob Riedel and his bands, \'Shit 4 Brains\' and \'Bob\'s Drive-In\', The Dave Eddy Blues Band, Homesick James, Acoustic Hot Tuna, and The Raybeats.
