Mac Reeves: His great-great-granddaddy fought at the Battle of Gettysburg. His family originally came from Raleigh, North Carolina and settled, as farmers, in the Canadian Maritimes. His mama used to say that he could sing before he could speak, and he began singing on stage when he was six years old. He learned to play guitar from his daddy, who played in a Country and Western band. A family legend, told by Mac\'s great-uncle, was that Jim Reeves was a distant relative of theirs-- whether or not it\'s true, the great Jim Reeves was a huge influence on young Mac. He spent close to a decade touring around Canada and the U.S., dazzling people with his powerful voice, electrifying stage presence, and wide array of impressions (e.g. Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Hank Williams, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones, etc.). In the late 1980s, in his early twenties, Mac managed Toronto\'s Studio 55, developing recordings for artists such as Shania Twain. He has composed over 200 songs. He recorded 18 of those songs for his CD, \'Bald Eagle,\' a title signifying both his traditional values and his close-shaven head. "Bald Eagle" is a stunning selection of original songs from every genre of Country and Western music. From traditional, to old time, to cowboy, to bluegrass, to new country, Mac Reeves shows that he is a master of the entire C&W medium. You will love flying with the Bald Eagle.
