Peace Sells But Who's Buying: 25th Anniversary
Dave Mustaine and co. made their major-label debut with this 1986 Capitol LP—which instantly earned rave reviews, eventually went platinum and went down in heavy-metal history as a trailblazing classic of thrash. Now, in time for its 25th anniversary, Wake Up Dead; Peace Sells; I Ain’t Superstitious; Devil’s Island; The Conjuring, and the rest of the original LP has been digitally remastered for the first time. Both editions also contain an unissued 1987 concert recording from their first tour and new notes by Mustaine and Metallica’s Lars Ulrich. The super-deluxe set ups the ante with a heap of rare and unreleased mixes and hi-res audio of the album and concert, all spread out across 5 CDs and three vinyl LPs and accompanied by an expanded booklet, 8"x10" photos and reproductions of vintage Megadeth memorabilia—not to mention a super-cool 3D cover!
