With a heart to serve the Lord and a desire to reach youth, Miss L is on a mission to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ as an Artist, Choreographer and Film Producer in the realm of Christian Fine Arts. Graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a MFA in Art, emphasizing in Filmmaking, Miss L was confident that her future as a filmmaker would be solidified with a move to California after she received her degree. However, God began to pull her into ministry and into works for Him her last semester of college, with the birth of a deep love for Holy Hip Hop, as music, dance and culture. While unsure of where this new venture would lead, she began to research and get plugged into the local Holy Hip Hop scene in her hometown of Oklahoma City, OK. From here, this new passion became all consuming. While Miss L's love and fervor for Holy Hip Hop continued to increase, God began to put a deep calling on her life to influence youth through music, poetry and dance, and even more specifically, to minister to young women. She feels that young women are called to be virtuous and should strive to be a 'Proverbs 31' type of girl. While sexual immorality invades the media through music, television and the internet, she feels that Christian artists can take what the Devil has stolen and made sour, and turn it around in a positive, life-giving avenue that promotes God's love, peace, mercy and grace.
