Molly O'Day & Cumberland Folks
Molly was poised to achieve superstardom a la Kitty Wells when she dropped out of the music biz in 1951 to pursue a life as an evangelist. This Bear Family double CD collects her classic work, all 36 sides she recorded for Columbia from 1946 to 1951 with notes and sessionography. One of the great lost country legends.
