Product Reviews
This ten-disc set rides along under Dick Clark's name, and as host of the long-running American Bandstand television show in the late '50s and into the 1960s, he did as much as anyone to popularize teen music and rock & roll, although one suspects that the music revolution could just as easily have happened without his assistance. Clark's name aside, this set collects an impressive list of classics, all of which were heard a million times pumping out of jukeboxes and car radios during the era, and the songs are the true stars here. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
