This acoustic-folk trio from Northeast England had record companies fighting to sign them when they first started making a buzz on the college and festival circuits. RCA won the battle, putting out these LPs in ’72 and ’74; here they are with new liner notes aided by the band themselves: Sometimes I Could Believe in You; Free; Subway Cinderella; Road to the Sun; Moontime Writer, and more!
The Natural Acoustic Band was formed in 1969 in Glasgow, Scotland. There were a number of personnel changes throughout the band's history, but the best known line up was: Tom Hoy on guitar & vocals, Robin Thyne on guitar, bongos, recorders & vocals and Krysia Kocjan vocals & guitar. The band only produced two albums and one single (reaching #1 on the Melody Maker folk charts). This is the first time that these two RCA albums have been released on CD. They have been digitally remastered and come housed in slipcase. BGO. 2005.
