Kidnapped in a Supposed Safe Place[CD]
Nicky Fynn's musical style is best described as, "Bridging the gap between indie, and mainstream music as we know it. " After years of writing, recording, and performing all over the country Nicky Fynn met producer Joshua Eldridge and the two seemed to click instantly. Together, they created a sound that blended the many different aspects of music that they loved as listeners. "This was a strange combination of some of the most interesting music I'd ever heard," says Nicky, "we had this chemistry, and coming from such a wide spectrum of different influences really helped to create a unique sound. He was coming from a background of bands like Tool, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Chris Cornell's solo stuff. I came from more of a pop and R&B background, and even some country influences." " Kidnapped In A Supposed Safe Place", is the debut album from emerging independent artist Nicky Fynn. This album delivers a cathartic, unapologetic, and brutally honest, autobiographical unraveling of the darkest secrets of life's journey. Listeners will be immersed in an often dark, yet incredible aural landscape through many different elements of alternative rock, folk, pop, and even experimental music.
