(Whats the Story) Morning Glory
Several months ago, back came Definitely Maybe, the album that put Oasis on the map. Now, it’s reissue time for (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?, its 1995 successor that became one of the fastest-selling UK albums of its era and a Top 10 smash in the States. Marrying Beatles-esque melodies with stadium-sized guitar hooks, Oasis delivered some of the quintessential hits of their time here. The CD and 180-gram double-vinyl edition (which comes with a download card) include Wonderwall; Champagne Supernova; Don’t Look Back in Anger; Roll with It, and the rest of the original release. Added to the 3-CD deluxe edition and the download card in the vinyl set are 28 B-sides and rare and unissued tracks: Acquiesce; Step Out; demos of Some Might Say; She’s Electric; live versions of Cast No Shadow; Talk Tonight, and more. The box includes all of the above plus a 7" (demos of Hello and She’s Electric), a 12" (replica of the promo disc with Cum On Feel the Noize and the Lynch Mob Beats Remix of Champagne Supernova), a cassette (replica of the promo copy of the album), postcards, an art card, Roll with It cigarette papers and a hardback book full of rare photos from the Morning Glory period! Big Brother.
