CARLA R. JONES Carla R. Jones known on stage as Rachelle is a talented, energetic, inspiring, anointed six feet Gospel beauty queen, a native of Mansfield, Ohio. She has had an intense love of music at a early age, but admits she was quite shy at that age. Rachelle started singing at church in front of people at the age of 7. During one of her performance at a local contest in her home town the audience was so taken in by her vocal ability she won first place. Using her gift of song through the years, on many occasion she was asked to sing for Mason convention, yearly Juneteen festival and the Christian Youth function with an audience of over 3000 people. She performed at weddings as far away as Hawaii. Using her gift to reach all cultures she was called upon to sing on Southern Gospel TV programs. Rachelle has performed on Black Entertainment Television (BET) on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show and has sung background with Edwin Hawkins and Albertina Walker. She also has had the opportunity to perform in commercials that have been televised nationally and also performed at the Rainbow Repertory in Canton, Ohio. In 2002 she performed with the Akron, Ohio Symphony and was asked to become a member of the Kent State Gospel Choir by one of the musical directors. Always looking for more people to share the gift of song Rachelle left the Ohio area and moved to Texas with her talented musical genius husband Deen Jones. During this union the CD Total Control was created. While in Texas she united with The Potter House under the Visionary Bishop T.D. Jakes and joins the Bishop Choir. She was able to background such great's leaders as Fred Hammon, John P. Kee. Jermaine Hawkins. Rachelle is a license minister at the Potter House where she practices every day to Maximize the Moment of life. Believing that all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are the called according to his purpose. (Roman 8:28) Rachelle works for the USPS where she is a Manger at one of the largest Mail Processing plants in Texas. In her time away from singing and managing she love to work with the homeless community, care for her husband, cook, travel, read, write songs and play the piano and bongos.
