I've Been Watching You
I was born and raised in Kenya. That is why my CD is different from the rest. Since I was a child, I had a lot of passion for songs. I mostly listened to American, European, and African Singers. I loved all types of music from country to reggae and all others. In elementary school, my English teacher thought I wrote good compositions. On my last year of high school, I began to write poems about life in general. But after I experienced love, I concentrated on writing love poems to express and relieve myself from the heavy weight that comes along with real love. When I came to America at age 22, I hoped to find a songwriter to use my poems and a singer to sing those songs, but it did not go as planned. My passion for music led me to write the songs and hoped to find a singer. When a singer did not come my way, I took singing classes and then headed to the studio. I am proud of the courage I took to make this CD a possibility.
