Rick Moon has performed professionally as both baritone and leading opera tenor in over 100 cities throughout the United States and Italy. Highlights of his career include performances at Kennedy Center for the Arts in Washington, D.C.; New York City Opera at Lincoln Center; Carnegie Hall; Florence and Siena, Italy, and the Spoleto Festival in Spoleto, Italy. Douglas Fentiman is an accomplished pianist who has successfully acted in the roles of soloist, composer, arranger, producer, and music director for productions throughout the northeastern United States. He currently serves as Director of Music at his church in Columbus, Ohio, as well as maintaining a private piano studio. For "Classic Performances", Moon and Fentiman go back to their classical roots to create a collection of piano solo repertoire, and voice solo repertoire including opera, art songs, and hymns. Their goal is to keep beautiful classical music alive and well in the 21st Century. During their two years of performing together, Fentiman and Moon have received rave reviews from enthusiastic audiences. In their live performances, they also include selections from Broadway musicals and operettas, and love songs of the 20th Century. Two other albums in the works include an innovative program of favorite opera arias and a compilation of best-loved hymns. NOTE: All voice parts in the ensembles of tracks #8, 15, and 17 are sung by Rick Moon.
