Shake My Hand
Snooky Pryor came to Chicago upon his discharge from the Army after World War II and pioneer the amplified blues harmonica sound that was to become one of the cornerstones of classic Chicago blues of the 50s. a protege of Sonny Boy Williamson II, Snooky in turn was a key influence on Litter Walter. Shake My Hand features some of Snooky's newer songs, as well as swinging versions of songs by Hank Ballard and Sleepy John Estes.
