In the Winter of 1999, The Stepford Five invaded the Columbus music scene armed with a collection of textured, guitar-driven rocksongs. The band has since established a reputation for high-energy performances that showcase their crafted song writing and blatant intensity. In the summer of 1999, the four piece entered Workbook Studio in Columbus to capture their unmistakable sound on tape. The result of which is MESH, the band's first full-length album. MESH is the culmination of each member's different styles, influences and personalities into one cohesive album. Featuring eleven of the bands finest songs, MESH exposes every aspect of The Stepford Five. From the hard rock pulse of the opener Contact Illusion, to the grooves of No Chance and Get Yourself Together, MESH leaves the listener with the task of redefining the constraints of modern music. From the stark beauty of Making Sound to the raucousness of Tear It Down, The Stepford Five proves there is no pigeonhole that this album or this band can be placed in easily. It is a record solely defined by it's own self and the four personalities that are The Stepford Five.
