Marcus Mullins: Marcus is a multi instrumentalist and singer currently serving active duty with the US Army having just returned from Afghanistan. Marcus has toured as a side man with Sarah Johns, Jason Meadows, George Canyon, Jamey Johnson. Marcus at one time was a signed artist to BBR records (Jason Aldean/ Craig Morgan). Megan, John and Marcus played, sang and recorded everything on this CD in Megan and John's tiny home studio in Nashville in about five days while Marcus was home on leave from Afghanistan. Because Megan and Marcus were at one time Orchestra nerds, they decided to utilize some of their classical playing in the recording, building rich beds of strings under the funky, country, grassy songs. The songs are a journey; they are the joys of sins, the grace of God, the pain of loss and love of life. They are The Tennessee Hot Damns. They named themselves after a particularly nasty 100 proof booze that fueled some to their jam sessions.
