President/ World of Miracles
One of the great character actors of all time, Walter Brennan also had a successful career as a recording artist, often reprising his role as an ornery cuss on a series of albums throughout the ’50s and ’60s. And now, we have a treat for fans of this American icon: two of his earliest recordings, made for Everest Records in 1960! The first, "The President," features Walter narrating milestones in the careers of America’s most notable heads of state with accompaniment by orchestra and chorus, while the second, "A World of Miracles," takes the same approach to nine tales from the Bible. One-of-a-kind albums from a one-of-a-kind guy!
