From Janesville, Wisconsin, originally, Jerry now lives and works in Connecticut, but his songs celebrate life in the small towns of our upper Midwest. There's even a song here about Dixon, Illinois, although it's not about Dixon's famous favorite son (okay, that's Ronald Reagan). Jerry's songs tell of county fairs, of growing up by clear rivers and, yes, of folk who work in factories where automobiles are assembled. Very singable "slices of real life."
