Clem Clempson (who had just stepped in for Peter Frampton) is heard in one of his first Humble Pie shows as you hear them at the Academy of Music NYC on December 3, 1971: "Four Day Creep," "C’mon Everybody," "The Fixer," "I Wonder" and more. Their Boston Music Hall performance from March 16, 1972 includes "(I’m a) Road Runner," "Rollin’ Stone," "Sweet Peace and Time" and more, and then this set of bootleg recordings moves to Philadelphia (March 15, 1975: "Stone Cold Fever," "I Don’t Need No Doctor" and more), back to NYC (Privates Club, March 25, 1981, with a new lineup playing "All Shook Up," "Tin Soldier," "Infatuation" and more) and to L.A. (The Country Club, Reseda, May 17, 1981: "Tulsa Time," "30 Days in the Hole," "Fool for a Pretty Face" and more). Some of the audio is raw, but these 5 CDs are a testament to the gutsy, soulful blues-rock power of live Humble Pie! Hear No Evil.
