This immensely talented jazz pianist broke through to the mainstream in the ’70s but was already winning jazz competitions and record contracts in the ’60s. In ’65, Bob made two trio recordings at the Wollman Auditorium at Columbia University, but those sessions have never seen a release—’til now.
