OPVS NOIR Vol. 1, out August 8, 2025, via Napalm Records, marks Lord of the Lost's first album as a six-piece band, and kicks off the beginning of an entire album trilogy. Concluding the delightfully eccentric chapter of Blood & Glitter, this uncompromising return to the band's dark core is sprinkled with a variety of top-tier guests. Once again, the band proves not only musical excellence but also masterful craftsmanship. Produced by Chris Harms, and recorded, mixed, and mastered at the legendary Chameleon Studios in Hamburg, the 11 tracks hit with a force and brilliance that immediately transport listeners into a darkly colourful ballroom, transcending genre boundaries and turning moments into monuments that carry us all along. The tone is set: dark wave-metal on an amphitheater scale.
