What a run of bad luck this band had—and it’s a shame, because they were one of the best bands of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal. After they fired their manager, that manager brought an injunction to keep them off the road. Then, their label (Gem) went bankrupt. Finally, after they befriended Iron Maiden, their singer Bruce Dickinson left them for Iron Maiden. They made this 1981 LP—their finest—before Bruce left; its first vinyl reissue (on "crimson loincloth" vinyl) is limited to 700 copies: "Blood Lust," "Go to Hell," "Bright Lights," "Once Bitten" and more! Real Gone Music.
