'The Story Behind My Album' : I had wanted to make a professionally-recorded CD for about 10 years and I began saving money for it back in the '90's. I have known since I was a small child how much I enjoyed performing music for others. Finally after playing organ recitals or master classes in some important venues, I knew I was ready to make a CD! I made a list of organ music I wanted to record and a few piano pieces that were my favorites. I have been studying music with some excellent teachers for years, so I had their help and advice with my project. The singer at my church, Bev Benda, who has a song on my CD, suggested a good recording technician I could use: Jerry Nedilsky, a man who retired from the Army Band. The actual learning of and recordings of the music took 2 1/2 years! I never dreamed of all the work and time planning it which would go into the CD. Now that it's made, I say Hurray!
